Jesus, help me to live only in present, to see how you see, to forget faults of others and myself, so that I can serve you fully, without hesitation, today.  Amen

Gospel Lk 6:36-38

Jesus said to his disciples:
"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

"Stop judging and you will not be judged.
Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give and gifts will be given to you;
a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing,
will be poured into your lap.
For the measure with which you measure
will in return be measured out to you."

If this is not a good incentive to stop judging others and holding onto hurts...I don't know what is?  This scripture has come at an important time for me, and I hope for you.

God, bless anyone who hears  your word today with the strength to forgive, and to continue in their path of righteousness regardless of what others are doing, being always open to share a smile,  celebrate in others joys, be sad with those who are sad, and grow in compassion...not judgement. Amen
