Gospel Lk 9:46-50

An argument arose among the disciples
about which of them was the greatest.
Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child
and placed it by his side and said to them,
"Whoever receives this child in my name receives me,
and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
For the one who is least among all of you
is the one who is the greatest."

Jesus, sometimes I feel so looked down upon because of how many children I have and how young they are.  I don't know if it is my own sensitivity or the real thoughts of those I encounter, I only know that I have accepted the children you have given me in your name. Sometimes though, I feel so small...I feel despised by the community at large, and overwhelmed by the amount of self sacrifice caring for them and my husband requires.  Help me, Lord, only to desire to be Great in your eyes...
